ACE Named One of Forbes Magazine's 400 Best Big Companies ACE is included in Forbes magazine's “Best Big Companies,” list of the best of the large, publicly traded companies in America, published earlier this year. Evan Greenberg Named #1 CEO in Insurance/Non-Life by Institutional Investor
Evan Greenberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, ACE Limited, was named by Institutional Investor magazine the #1 CEO in the Insurance/Non-Life category in their January 2008 ranking of “The Best CEOs in America.” He is followed by Constantine Iordanou of Arch Capital, Martin Sullivan of AIG, Thomas Wilson of Allstate and William Berkley of W.R. Berkley. For this annual listing the magazine asked more than 900 portfolio managers, analysts and other investment professionals to name the best CEOs in each of the sectors with which they were familiar.

ACE “Highly Commended” in U.S. Insurer Magazine Poll U.S. Insurer Magazine recently polled readers to determine the insurers, reinsurers, brokers and service providers they hold in high regard. ACE achieved a ranking of “highly commended” in Primary Insurer of the Year, Property Insurer of the Year, Casualty Insurer of the Year and Property/Casualty Reinsurer of the Year.
ACE CFO Bancroft Named in Institutional Investor's Best List
ACE Limited Chief Financial Officer Phil Bancroft is listed in the Institutional Investor magazine ranking of "America's Best CFOs." The magazine polled portfolio managers and equity research analysts for their top three CFOs in the industry segment or segments they cover. In the Insurance/Non-Life category, three names surfaced: Danny Hale of Allstate Corp., W. Thomas Forrester of Progressive Corp., and ACE's own Bancroft.
